The Hoyt Lakes Water Carnival began in 1955 as a community picnic to introduce neighbors brought in by the newly formed Erie Mining Company in Hoyt Lakes. The tradition has continued since that date and has become a major attraction to Northern Minnesota and our surrounding communities. The tradition is kept alive with the original picnic for the community members and activities to suit every age and interest.
Our committee is a non-profit 501c corporation and we depend on donations, sales and fundraisers to support the Carnival. If you have donated in previous years, we thank you for your past generous contributions to this event and we look to you again for help to bring the 62nd Hoyt Lakes Water Carnival together as an enjoyable event for all of our citizens, businesses and attendees. Please consider a sponsorship option for this year’s event. We hope your pride in our local communities, the influx of people, which generates business for all of us during that weekend, will influence you to donate to this festival. This, of course, is not to mention an enjoyable occasion that will be had by everyone.
Sponsorships and donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated. We are enclosing a Sponsorship Package for you to consider. If you have any questions or are interested in helping, we would welcome your inquiries and your support. Please send your donations to the address on the letterhead. If you prefer, you can contact us and we can pick up your sponsorship/donations in person.
